Amaro Drom is a duo for violin and cello in the style of the Spanish Tango Flamenco (not to be confounded with its Argentinian namesake). This dance is exuberant and full of festive energy, but in moderate tempo. The piece is a tribute to the Roma music group bearing the same name, which had a significant influence on the musical evolution of the composer. Its name means our way in Romani language.
