In meiner Orchestermusik "Klangbogen" entwickeln sich verschiedene Klangflächen aus einem einzigen Klangfaden. Diese Klangflächen gewinnen durch rhythmische Strukturen mehr und mehr an Kontur. Gleichzeitig wird ihr organischer Aufbau durch eine Folge von kurzen Interventionen – äusserlichen Einflüssen – gestört. Nach einem finalen Einschnitt bleibt die Musik stehen und ein Auflösungsprozess wird eingeleitet: Die Harmonik wird durch Mikrointervalle und Naturtöne (Viertel-, Fünftel-, Sechstel- und Zwölfteltöne) zu einer sublimen Klanglichkeit erweitert, eine breite Palette an multiphonischen und fragilen Klängen herrscht vor und die Orchesterbesetzung wird soweit ausgedünnt, bis nur noch ein einsames Solo-Violoncello übrig bleibt.
